MCS have published a new issue of the MCS001 standard. The most significant change in Issue 2.3 is that of Appendix A clause 8 which now states:
"A contract for the sale and installation of a system shall be entered into only between an MCS certified Company, which is certified for the technology type (s) in the contract, and a Customer."
This was always the intention of the clause but this new wording provides clarification on how the clause should be interpreted.
