Government has announced that there will be a one-month lockdown in England effective from 5 November 2020. During this time the official guidance is as follows:
Where people cannot work effectively from home (for instance people who work in critical national infrastructure, construction or manufacturing) they should continue to travel to work/attend their workplace. This is essential to keeping the country operating and supporting vital sectors and employers. The risk of transmission can be substantially reduced if are followed closely. Extra consideration should be given to those people at higher risk.
In line with this we are advised that RECC Members can continue to access consumers’ homes so long as both the RECC Member and the consumer are in agreement and you follow the Government's COVID-secure guidelines linked in the document below. The relevant guidance from the Devolved Nations is also linked in the document below.
